The seventh edition of the Selvedge Run will take place for the first time in the Palais at the exhibition grounds under the Radio Tower in Berlin. The Palais am Funkturm was built in 1957 by Bruno Grimmek and Werner Düttmann as a ballroom and was extensively renovated. The two-story building offers a lot of daylight due to the large window sections and the unique and clearly arranged room ensemble ensures a pleasant working atmosphere.
The name addition “Tradeshow for quality garments and crafted goods” reveals exactly what the Selvedge Run is all about. The list of brands this season again consists of the who’s who of the industry. Some 100 brands, including 3Sixteen, Croots, East Harbour Surplus, Hansen, Indigofera, Iron Heart, Momotaro, Nigel Cabourn, Red Wing Shoes, Stetson, Thedi Leathers, Simmons Bilt, Tellason and Viberg, among others, will show buyers the latest collections for the upcoming season. “It is important to us that the affinity for high-quality materials and handmade products is present in the labels that exhibit with us. How old a brand is or what design approach it follows is not decisive for us. Love for craftsmanship and quality are relevant for us.
